I agree completely, energy and energy dependance are the 2 most important things on my "issue agenda". Imagine how cheap energy would become if we decided to build 100 nuclear power plants in the United States. I think it would create an economy like we've never seen before. On top of that, what good is an EV car when your local utility has brown outs because it can't keep up with the 400000000 things we have plugged in now.

We tried to go over the Iowa River to Des Moines this weekend and Highway 14 North of Marshalltown is closed and Highway 30 is closed south of Albion. Highway 20 to Interstate 35 would be the best route to take.
