Pajamas media is polling every week for the 2008 Presidential election. This is the 2nd week. I don't think the people voting have heard Gov. Richardson speak, he is not a very charismatic speaker. I'm surprised Gov. Romney is ahead of Rudy Giullani.

It's something the lefties like to forget when they start criticizing the Bush Administration about Iraq.

Knee-Jerk Opposition

Bush tries to appease the Democrats on health care, he proposes a great plan in the state of the union speech last night, and sure enough the Democrats oppose it. As others have mentioned, Pres. Bush did the same thing with the "surge" strategy, which was an idea several Democrats including Reid were pushing. Well, until the Pres. said it was a good idea, then they are all against it. I find it pathetic the way our two parties are behaving lately.

The State of the Union Speech the President Should Give

The State of the Union is a Disaster I agree with the Vietnam lesson towards the bottom of the article. My greatest fear about Iraq is that the Democrats will succeed in pulling troops out and create 20 years of U.S. isolationism that terrorists and dictators will use to their advantage. They will use it to their advantage too. They will build nukes, arms and spread lies and their jihadist ways to a region that we can't let become unstable. I doubt the President will give a speech like this though.

Best Mac Software Ever

I've recently started using Yojimbo to manage my daily work. I think it is the best piece of software I've ever used. I subscribed to the Yojimbo mailing list and the posts to it are very helpful. I think Toast 8, VLC media player, and Handbrake are the next best apps on my list. I guess I forgot to mention how great I think OS X is, but that's pretty much a given in my opinion. :P I do love Yojimbo though, take a look at it if you need some organization in your life.

Hillary! says she'll win

Hillary! tells major donors she'll win I guess I wouldn't be so sure of myself if I was her. Although it is politics so she's being positive on the whole thing. I think Obama with his new rock star status will eat into her votes. Hillary's! flip-flop on the war in Iraq won't help her either. Obama has kept his same idea on the war throughout I believe. Update: From what I'm reading, most analysts are saying Gov. Richardson will be very very tough to beat.
