Mice

We live in the country, so mice are common for us. When we got Big Boy our cat we really hoped he was a "mouser". Last year, he sort of layed around and watch a mouse or two run by him. I'm not sure what has changed, but this year, he's like a puma out hunting. Big Boy has successfully taken out 2 mice in 2 days for us. He chased on around the living room for a long time last night just toying with it before he ended it's life. We love Big Boy.

Finished book

I just finished Chainfire by Terry Goodkind. I've been a big fan of the Sword of Truth series since I read Wizards First Rule . I really enjoy Goodkinds writing style and his books are fantastic. This series is obviously moving to an end based on what is in this book. It appears that the "end" is in sight. Maybe 2 more books I think I read.

Chainfire was great and really progressed the story, although I wish Goodkind hadn't spent so long on the whole disappearance of a central character. He spent half the book on why prophecy was disappearing and very little on the actual dissappearence. We really did not need to see the prophecy problem from 42 different angles. It seemed like he could have shortened it down to a few chapters and then focused more on the story or he could have given us more background on ancient D'Hara for instance. Book was still great, I just had a few minor problems with it.

Next book is the Wheel of Time book 11. I certainly hope it is better than book 10, which was a new low for the series. :-(

3 UNI buildings set on fire

You would have to be pretty dumb to set anything on fire. Not only would you be kicked out of the University, but you'd also go to jail. Although, similiar to the arrests on the hill, this could have been done by non-uni students. I think the newspaper sayd 37 arrests were made on the hill after homecoming and only 11 of those were UNI students.
